Security and privacy concerns grow
With Freeday’s developing its own LLMs, the platform will not only delivers digital employees with exceptional language processing capabilities, but also high-end data security and in full compliance with European Union regulations without relying on third parties. We know first hand that many business leaders in the Netherlands, and other European countries, have increasing concerns about data storage, compliance, and other security issues, and we want to address those concerns head-on.
Quality improvement via specific LLMs
A customized LLM not only provides our clients higher quality, as a result of its task-specific focus, but it reduces noise and biases as the specific dataset will be trained in a curated and filtered way. This results in reliable and contextually appropriate results. Another great benefit is that a customized Large Language Model is way more effective. The smaller dataset requires less computing power, resulting in high-speed results. And lower costs as it saves energy. And as said, a specific LLM has a better ability to meet the required data privacy, compliancy and other regulations. We will zoom a bit further on this below.
Co-founder Marcus Groeneveld explains, "As we foresaw the concerns, we started creating our own large language model that not only meets its US counterparts in performance but also distinguishes itself by being fully compliant with all EU regulations. We believe that data privacy and security should be at the forefront of AI technology, and we're committed to providing a platform that meets the highest standards in these areas."
“By becoming fully compliant with EU regulations, we want to give our clients peace of mind that their data is handled with the utmost care and respect for their privacy. We want to be the go-to platform for organizations that prioritize both performance and data security”.
To ensure the highest level of data security, we have implemented robust measures to protect user data and comply with EU regulations. Freeday’s Head of Product Mark Jan van Kampen says: "We understand that data is valuable and sensitive, which is why we invest heavily in building a secure infrastructure. Our platform employs state-of-the-art encryption techniques to safeguard data both in transit and at rest. Additionally, we adhere to strict access controls, ensuring that only authorized individuals can access the data if it is necessary at all."
One of the primary concerns expressed by our clients is the storage of their data. We want to assure them that we take this responsibility seriously. Freeday utilizes trusted and secure data centers located within the European Union, ensuring that our growing number of clients' data remains within the region. This approach not only provides faster access to the data but also helps us comply with EU data protection laws.
Data governance framework
To further address compliance concerns, Freeday wants to guide its clients by using a comprehensive data governance framework. This framework ensures that our platform meets all EU regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We have been working closely with legal and privacy experts to continually update our policies and procedures, ensuring that we remain in full compliance with evolving regulations.
Marcus Groeneveld emphasizes, "At Freeday, we believe that trust is the foundation of any successful partnership. By being fully compliant, we want to give our clients peace of mind that their data is handled with the utmost care and respect for their privacy. We want to be the go-to platform for organizations that prioritize both performance and data security."
As we move forward, Freeday continues to advance its large language model capabilities and performance, while maintaining the highest standards of data security and compliance. We will continue to collaborate with our clients, listening to their challenges, jobs to be done and their concerns and incorporating their feedback to ensure that we provide a platform that meets their evolving needs.
“We want to be the European scale-up that sets the standard for ethical AI and becomes the trusted partner for organizations across industries.”
Marcus Groeneveld concludes, "Our vision is to empower a growing number of clients via our platform that not only enhances their language processing capabilities but also prioritizes data security. We want to be the European scale-up that sets the standard for ethical AI and becomes the trusted partner for organizations across industries."
At Freeday, Europe’s leading platform to hire digital employees, we are driven by our commitment to customer satisfaction.
